Three separate flight days under one authorization series, flown with a DJI Phantom 4 Pro – named “Phantom 4 Pro Plus” on the campus paperwork – with the FC6310 1-inch 20 MP RGB camera on firmware v01.07.1641.
The first day was the long one: 1,191 stills between 12:00 and 15:19 local, at a median 28 m above takeoff, 267 nadir and 924 oblique. Imagery only; no map product was made. The second visit was video, three authorized flights producing 20 raw 4K clips. The third day added 25 stills between 08:07 and 09:10 working from 7 to 88 m, along with the main video set.
Every flight sat under a signed campus request. Eight were digitally signed by the requester, Auraria Campus Police and Event Services, covering the Tivoli, the 5th St Garage, the 7th St Classroom, the Arts Building, St. Cajetan’s and the Regency Athletic Complex. Each named the aircraft, $1,000,000 hull and liability coverage, the pilot’s Part 107 and Part 61 credentials, a weather stand-down rule (no flight in precipitation, visibility under 3 statute miles, ceilings under 3,000 ft or wind over 20 mph), no flight over pedestrians, and two named visual observers. Conditions were daylight VFR throughout, with low wind and good visibility.
