Frequently asked questions
THE QUESTIONS CLIENTS ACTUALLY ASK
Short, direct answers. If yours is not here, call 303-547-8080 or scope a project and we will answer it against your actual site.
Can I get it cheaper? The per-acre price is lower elsewhere.
Per-acre is the wrong yardstick. What you are buying is the decision the data lets you make, and the cost of making it late or making it wrong. One provider covers the whole range, the accuracy follows ASPRS standards and is documented where it counts, and every project includes free reprocessing for life. A low per-acre number tends to come back as a second mobilization, a format you cannot use, or a result you cannot defend in an audit.
How do I know the accuracy is good enough to trust?
The answer is on paper, not on faith. Your deliverable carries a formal ASPRS statement: produced to meet the standard, or tested to meet it with surveyed checkpoints and a documented RMSE, set to what your project requires. Because we process and validate on site before we leave, we confirm the data is good while we are still on your property, not after we are back at an office.
Can you really turn it around that fast?
We commit to your finished deliverable in the portal within 24 hours of the flight where the scope allows, and we routinely beat it. The reason we can commit to it is that the processing happens on site in our mobile lab, so the work is largely done and validated before we leave. Turnaround is project dependent and is confirmed in your quote. We would rather commit to a day and hand it to you sooner than promise an hour and miss.
What if my needs change, or I need a different format later?
Covered for the life of the data, at no cost. Lifetime Data Support means we reprocess your existing capture into any format that was in scope, take a fresh look at specific areas, and rerun it through our newer and more accurate engines as they arrive, all free. The only thing that costs is a brand new flight, and even that is discounted, because your site is already mapped, controlled, and proven.
Why not just go with a big national platform?
Because you get one accountable provider who shows up, processes on site in a mobile lab that can reach the remote corners of your property, and does not leave until the deliverable is validated to your needs. A national network hands you software and a contractor pool. We hand you a finished, verified product, a relationship, and free reprocessing for life behind it.
Is this a legal survey? Can I record it?
Straight answer: a stamped, recordable survey requires a licensed surveyor of record, and we deliver that through our PLS partnership, with full disclosure, when your project needs a legal product. For engineering, planning, progress, and volume decisions, our Engineering-grade deliverable, tested to meet ASPRS standards with a documented RMSE, is built for exactly that use. We will tell you up front which one your project calls for.
Why is there a travel charge and a project minimum?
Travel is the real cost of bringing the crew and the mobile lab to your site, and we price it transparently, never as a markup. The project minimum simply lets us commit to the trip on a smaller job. On larger or recurring work it folds into the scope.
Every commitment above is the conservative floor of what we will do. We hold timelines, accuracy, and scope to what we can deliver on the worst day, then beat it on the normal one.
